Fly it. Absolutely fly it. Any American who gets gatekeepy about a flag on Independence Day is weird.
If you’re worried, just do it right. Get a real 12x18 inch flag from Lowe’s for 15 bucks, not a plastic one from Dollar Tree that melts.
Hang it respectfully, don’t let it touch the ground, take it in at night unless you have a light.
I did it in 2021 and my neighbor brought me a Bud Light and a sparkler. Most American moment of my life.
